Eco Cycle + UWB

On October 23rd at 7:30pm, Cisco Zapata, UWB MBA Class of ‘08, will present to the Entrepreneurship Network, the Green Entrepreneurship at UWB club, and alumni on campus in UW2 205.

Zapata Brothers, Cisco’s company, is a new business venture that will produce the Eco Cycle. The Eco Cycle is a bicycle that will be produced in the USA from recycled aluminum alloy. This is the team that took first place at last Spring’s UWB Student Entrepreneurship Competition. Cisco will be presenting the current status of the Zapata Brothers venture.

Center for Student Entrepreneurship advisers will be in attendance including: Richard Jacroux (CFO, CW United) and George Fletcher (Co-Founder, Parity Software).

Come meet Cisco, CSE advisors, alumni, and fellow students while learning about a new green venture.

A “Green” Introduction

Green Entrepreneurship at UWB is a University of Washington Bothell student club whose mission is to be an active student organization that helps environmentally-minded entrepreneurs connect with other students and local professionals active in green businesses. Instead of weekly or monthly meetings, the club hosts a few large events each year where green business leaders speak to and mentor club members. If you are interested in meeting on a weekly or monthly basis with student entrepreneurs, please check out the Entrepreneurship Network.
